As the summer wanes, and the tomatoes are both at their peak out here on the Colorado high plains, and at the end of their road, I am reminded of this season's bounty and heart breaking beauty. The autumnal equinox is on Thursday and some of our nights are getting down into the 40's - I've actually worn a sweater the past few mornings. The summer here (despite the fires) was one of the best I remember for a very long time. Feeling joy for what once was, and turning my taste buds and thoughts to cozying up to autumn. A poignant reminder to love each season with abandon.
I really enjoyed your studio shots! One of my favorite things to see are the workspaces of artists. Your studio looks absolutely lovely! as well as your work.
